RBX SCAN uses Roblox's public server list API combined with avatar fingerprinting and username matching — no special access, no hacks.

RBX SCAN fetches every public server page from Roblox's API. For each server it checks the player list using avatar fingerprinting to find your target.

Common questions about how RBX SCAN works and whether it's safe to use.

Does RBX SCAN steal my Roblox account (beam)? ▶
Absolutely not. RBX SCAN is a web application that only calls Roblox's own public APIs — the same ones your browser uses when you visit roblox.com. It never asks for your login, password, cookies, or any account credentials. All requests are proxied through our secure server to avoid CORS issues, but no sensitive data is ever stored or accessed.
What APIs does it use? ▶
Only public Roblox APIs: users.roblox.com (username lookup), presence.roblox.com (online status), games.roblox.com (server list), and thumbnails.roblox.com (avatar images). All of these are the same endpoints used by the Roblox website itself.
Can it find players in private servers? ▶
No. RBX SCAN can only scan public servers listed by Roblox's API. Private servers, VIP servers, and reserved servers are not returned by the public server list and cannot be found.
The scan finished but didn't find the player. Why? ▶
This can happen if the player is in a private server, in a full server that the API didn't return, if they went offline mid-scan, or if they're in a different game than the one you entered. Try the Lookup tab first to confirm they're actually online and in-game.
How does the license key system work? ▶
License keys are issued through Gumroad after purchase. Each key is for one person and can only be activated once. The key is stored in your browser locally — it never leaves your device after verification. If you need help with your key, join our Discord.
Is this against Roblox's Terms of Service? ▶
RBX SCAN only accesses Roblox's public APIs at a polite rate. It does not automate gameplay, inject scripts into Roblox, or access any non-public data. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
